Summarized what you liked most and what you liked
least about this class. In other
words, what were the strengths and weaknesses of this class? Would you recommend this class to
another student? Why or why not?
There were a lot of things
that I liked in this class. One thing in particular I liked about this class
was some of the materials we covered. I thought that it was very relatable
since we all tend to get into conflicts with our relationships. I also liked
the project that we had to do for the class. Even though it was a lot of work,
it was fun to teach the concepts that I have learned.
One of the strengths of
this class to me was that it was flexible; I was able to do assignments and
quizzes on my own time. I guess a weakness of this class was the fact that we
don’t really get to meet anyone in the class.
I would recommend this
class to other people because I feel people can learn very practical skills. I
also thought that a lot of students could benefit from the concepts I have
learned and be able to try to solve their own conflicts. Professor Perez also
made it super easy to be able to communicate with her, which was crucial in a
class that meets online.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post this week. I liked learning about all the material in the class too. I thought that our book was great and had a lot of great concepts to learn about conflicts. I thought that our project was a lot of fun. Even though it was a lot of work, I felt that I learned more about conflicts from doing it. This class was very flexible and it was nice to do things on our own time and rate. I didn’t think the class had any weaknesses, however after reading about yours, I would have to agree that not meeting anyone in the class was a weakness, but that’s how online classes work. I think that lot of students would enjoy this class and learn from it. I can’t agree more with this statement you made, “Professor Perez also made it super easy to be able to communicate with her, which was crucial in a class that meets online”. Great post!

ReplyDeleteI like how you mentioned that all the topics in this class were very relatable. I think that’s what made me so interested in everything we did throughout this class, because I was able to take away from certain chapters’ concepts and the workshop. The work load was a little intense during the workshop project, I agree, but I definitely gained a lot of new knowledge about conflict and I feel that I am going to be able to retain absolutely everything due to the amount of times we had to deal with all of the concepts and theories.
